Christmas Time Is Here!

We had a blast this christmas! We spent Christmas Eve with my parents, Jim and Cathy as well as my amazing sis-in-law Alicia. I cooked a full-on traditional from scratch Thanksgiving style dinner since it is a family favorite. It gave me a chance to cook my first turkey ever, which if you know my family history you know is an important milestone! It all turned out amazing and I loved every second of it, but man! It's a lot of work!
Between Christmas Eve and Christmas morning I think Lily is convinced that every wrapped gift in the world is for her. Santa was incredibly generous with her. It took her (At a dawdling 2 year old pace of course) over 2 hours to open presents Christmas morning and we never did get to her stocking. She must have been a great girl this past year!
Penelope was just properly adorable through the whole thing :)
We spent Christmas Day with Shaun's family. It was a blast! Lily was learning to jump rope and play drums (Hilarious!) and we enjoyed a delicious dinner and played SceneIt! Seinfeld edition. Lily skipped out on her nap and passed out hard at 11 pm! I'd say she had a great time! Thank you everybody for making our holiday so special.
And now on to a New Year.....
