Lily'sHaircut!

After nearly 3 years of growing out the world's craziest mane it was time to bite the bullet and get Lily a haircut. It was a little heartbreaking to watch the big cut but once I realized how little work her new short do would be I was ok :) Whew, no more hours spent in front of the tv while I spray, comb repeat every week! We were taken by surprise by how grown she looks now with her "Big Girl" hair. It's gonna take a minute to get used to!

Lily did ok with it. She was really excited to get her haircut, right up until she was in the chair with the cape on, haha. She did a pretty good job of sitting still but she did keep moving her head around which was making the hairstylist's job interesting. But he was a trooper and he did a great job.

So Lily's first haircut was a total success! And I have a mommy keepsake to hold onto forever and ever.
